G. Kessler takes charge of the Ural Boeing Manufacturing joint venture02.11.2010 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION Gary Kessler has occupied the driver's seat at the joint venture set up by Boeing and VSMPO-Avisma. His predecessor Gary Baker will take up the post of the General Director at the Boeing Tianjin Composites Company (BTC) producing composites in China. Ural Boeing Manufacturing was established in August 2007; two years after, production operations started in Verkhnyaya Salda. The amount of investment totaled 60-65 million US dollars. The company's core business is primary machining of titanium forgings produced by VSMPO-Avisma for aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner. By 2011, UBM intends to reach the estimated output - 10 aircraft-sets a month. The VSMPO-Avisma Press-Service informed "RusBusinessNews" that Gary Kessler will move to Verkhnyaya Salda by early 2011.
