Pratt & Whitney reinforces cooperation with VSMPO-Avisma

The VSMPO-Avisma Corporation, OJSC, has all chances to become one of the key suppliers of Pratt & Whitney, Canada.

Michele Couture, Director for Business Development at the Canadian division of Pratt & Whitney, visited the Corporation to discuss prospects of future cooperation. The VSMPO Press-Service informed "RusBusinessNews" that one of the agenda issues included mechanical tooling of titanium parts of engines manufactured by the Russian company for Pratt & Whitney.

At the moment, VSMPO-Avisma is doing mechanical tooling of titanium stamped parts for Boeing 787 at the joint-venture, Ural Boeing Manufacturing, in Verkhnyaya Salda.
