On October 7, 2011 Andrei Kozitsyn is starting his new three-year term as the General Director of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK).

He has captained the company for more than 11 years. UGMK consists of about 50 Russian companies operating in mining, metallurgical, metalworking, and construction sectors. The company's core business is copper, zinc and lead operations.

The representatives of the UGMK Press Service have informed RusBusinessNews that in 2011 the company plans to manufacture 380 thousand copper cathodes, i.e. by 11 thousand tons more than in the previous year.
