Consulates and Trade Offices

The U.S. Consulate General has become the first diplomatic mission in Ekaterinburg – a city which was previously closed to foreign citizens. American diplomats began working here on 31 March 1994.

At present there are more than 20 foreign diplomatic and trade representations working in the capital of the Urals Federal District. The number is growing each year as is the world business community’s interest to the Urals region and Siberia.
