Uralelectromed to increase its production of galvanized products16.02.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION. Uralelectromed, OJSC (a subsidiary of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company) will launch a galvanizing line for small metal products in April, 2012. Two hundred fifty million rubles have been invested in the project. UMMC's press office told RusBusinessNews that the Dutch company CIC International BV had supplied equipment capable of producing 14,000 tons of metal goods per year. Once the new line is operating, Uralelectromed's zinc-plating operations will increase by a third, to 53,000 tons per year. The new line is needed because of the increased demand for small, galvanized metal goods that are used in energy production, industry, and civil construction. |
