Italian and Urals Engineers Will Create Nanosensors

JSC Ural Priborostroitelny Plant (priborostroitelny - Russian for "instrument-making") in cooperation with the Italian company Esaote SpA is planning to start a joint-production of nanosensors for ultrasound examination equipment. The first batch of the equipment will come to Russian hospitals in 2010.

RusBusinessNews was informed by the company that the Russian government is ready to spend 800 thousand Euro and the Italian party - 3.6 million Euro for the project. For four years of cooperation with Esaote SpA the Ural Priborostroitelny Plant has produced over 700 ultrasound machines delivered to various Russian medical facilities.
