URALCHEM used strong managers to strengthen its subsidiaries03.04.2012 — News MOSCOW. The Unified Chemical Company URALCHEM, OJSC has replaced the directors of the company's subdivisions in the Moscow region and Perm territory. The CEO of Moscow-based Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC, Murad Chaparov, was transferred to URALCHEM's subsidiary, Azot, in the Kama region. His former position was given to Sergei Drinevsky, who was previously the head of the Mineral Fertilizer Plant at the Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works, OJSC. The company's press office told RusBusinessNews that the new appointments went into effect on April 2, 2012. According to URALCHEM's CEO, Dmitry Konyayev, both directors have proven to be good managers - under their charge, ambitious projects were carried out at the companies to modernize production and develop new types of products. The Unified Chemical Company URALCHEM, OJSC is one of the largest companies in the market for nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS. Its subsidiaries produce over 2.5 million tons of ammonium nitrate, 2.8 million tons of ammonia, 0.8 million tons of monoammonium and diammonium phosphates, 0.8 million tons of compound fertilizers, and 1.2 million tons of carbamide every year. |
