Revenues at UMMC's Serov plant increased by a third in 201117.04.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION. The Serov Steel Works, OJSC (part of the ferrous-metals division of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company) sold 506.6 thousand tons of rolled and calibrated steel in 2011, which is 6.2% more than in 2010. Revenue from product sales increased by 27%, giving the plant a net profit of 12.9 million rubles. UMMC's press office told RusBusinessNews that the Serov plant is now successfully manufacturing new types of products: axle billets (primarily sold to Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC) and round bars in 290 mm sections. |
