ChTPZ Will Strengthen Pipeline Corrosion Resistant Coating

OAO Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (part of ZAO ChTPZ Group) is putting into operation a pipe inner corrosion-resistant coating line for pipelines.
As soon as OAO Gazprom and OAO AK Transneft certify the operations the company will proceed with the production of their orders.

RusBusinessNews was informed by ChTPZ Group that the implementation of the project with the annual capacity of up to 400 thousand tons of pipes is estimated to cost 16 billion Euro. The line will complement the two three-layer outer corrosion-resistant coating lines with annual aggregate capacity of 600 thousand tons of mainline pipes.

The Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant produced 141,700 tons of pipes, including 82,900 tons of large-diameter pipes in 2009.
