UMMC's investment program for 2013 will amount to 60 billion rubles03.10.2012 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION. Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company intends to maintain its investments in production at its 2012 level of 60 billion rubles. Significant expenditures are now being made in UMMC's mining businesses - Gaiskiy GOK, OJSC and Bashkir Copper, LLC - in order to increase their production capacity. Andrei Kozitsyn, the CEO of UMMC-Holding, LLC, told RusBusinessNews that in 2012 the company plans to produce about 386 thousand tons of copper rod, 20 thousand tons of lead, and 250 thousand tons of zinc (along with the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant, OJSC, which is affiliated with UMMC). These figures are consistent with the holding companies' level of production in 2011. |
