Azot's revenues have jumped 11%25.10.2012 — News PERM TERRITORY During the first nine months of 2012, Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, OJSC took in net profits of 5.5 billion rubles - an 11% increase over 2011. The company had revenues of 16.16 billion (up 10%). The company’s press office told RusBusinessNews that the increase in revenue was due to the rise in price of mineral fertilizers on the world market. Over the course of nine months, over 1.1 billion rubles have been invested in equipment upgrades and repairs at the Azot subsidiary. Since the beginning of 2012, Azot has increased its production of liquid ammonia by 1.2% - to 789.7 thousand tons and porous ammonium nitrate by 10.4% - to 117.5 thousand tons. The company manufactured 6.8% and 5.6% less ammonium nitrate and dilute nitric acid, respectively. Only 763.02 thousand tons of the former were produced and 792.2 thousand tons of the latter. The production of urea carbamide grade B fell by 2.6%, to 355.3 tons. |
