UMMC will purchase 1.4 million rubles' worth of equipment for the Gai Mining and Processing Works21.06.2013 — News ORENBURG REGION In 2013, the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company will spend 1.4 billion rubles on mining equipment for the Gai Mining and Processing Works. More than 60 self-propelled vehicles will be provided to the business over the course of the year. The plant will first receive auxiliary equipment to maintain underground roadways: a bulldozer from the firm Zanam-Legmet (Poland) and a grader from Nopmet (Finland). UMMC's press office told RusBusinessNews that the plant has already received a haul truck from the Swedish company Atlas Copco, plus five load-haul-dump trucks, including three with a capacity of ten tons from the SANDVIK company (Finland) and two units with a capacity of 14 tons from CATERPILLAR (Australia). A large quantity of primary and auxiliary equipment is also expected to arrive in the second half of 2013. |
