Perm-based URALCHEM has invested 120 million rubles in the environment01.07.2013 — News PERM TERRITORY Azot, a subsidiary of URALCHEM UCC, JSC, and Mineral Fertilizers, JSC have invested 120 million rubles in environmental protection efforts in 2012. In 2012, Azot reduced emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere by 3% and discharged 5% less waste into bodies of water. Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC saw an increase in its atmospheric emissions, due to increased production. However, those still remain within the established limits. The company produced 18% less wastewater in 2012. URALCHEM's press office told RusBusinessNews that the holding companies in the Perm territory plan to increase investment in environmental projects in 2013.
