UMMC is placing its confidence in power equipment from Siemens

UMMC and Siemens signed a strategic partnership agreement during the INNOPROM 2013 international exhibition.

UMMC’s press office told RusBusinessNews that the partnership agreement was signed by UMMC's general director, Andrei Kozitsyn, and Dietrich Mueller, the president of Siemens in Russia.

The companies' joint plans include supplying the German firm's equipment to UMMC's facilities that are being constructed or renovated. The Urals-based firm intends to buy gas and steam turbines, generators, network hardware, overhead wiring gear for railroads, mining machinery, and ventilation systems from its new partner.
