UMMC plans to buy a stake in Aircraft Industries from its Czech co-owner31.07.2013 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION The Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company intends to purchase 49% of the Czech aircraft manufacturer from the Pamco company. A company representative confirmed the plans. Currently UMMC owns 51% of the Aircraft Industries aircraft plant, known under its commercial name, LET Kunovice. UMMC's press office told RusBusinessNews that the Czech company produces the L-410 light passenger aircraft. In 2013, Aircraft Industries intends to manufacture 15-16 airplanes, and 16-18 in 2014. In addition the company is working on contemporary modifications of the plane. Its engines, cockpit, and wings will be new.
