Naomi Campbell Will Adorn Eurovision 2009 Judged by Kirkorov and Insured by Rosgosstrakh

Rosgosstrakh have provided the liability insurance to the organizers of the Eurovision 2009 song contest to the amount of 10 million US dollars. The competition for the title will take place in the Olympiysky Moscow sport complex on 12 - 16 of May. Rosgosstrakh experts have developed a unique insurance cover for the unique show which is held in Russia for the first time. In accordance with the terms of the contract, insurance covers the liability of OAO Pervy Kanal - (First Channel) the main organizer of the contest - as well as of its subcontractors and all co-organizers. Press-service of the company informed RusBusinessNews that Rosgosstrakh has reinsured the risks with the leading European companies.

The policy covers all Eurovision activities: concerts, rehearsals, opening and closing ceremonies, organization of press-centre, escorting and accommodating the participants. If damage occurs, the participants of the contest, spectators, and media representatives may receive insurance payouts.

Philip Kirkorov, a Russian singer, will be chairing the professional jury of Eurovision 2009. This jury will become a news of the contest. The winner used to be selected exclusively by the result of the viewers' vote. One of the contest presenters will be Naomi Campbell, currently in a close relationship with Vladislav Doronin, a Russian billionaire.
