Cologne Jazz Will Brighten Up Ekaterinburg Scene

The Days of German Culture will take place in Ekaterinburg on 12-26 May 2009. Lars Duppler Trio, a jazz band from Cologne, will open the event.

The Ural State Technical University (USTU-UPI) will host the 26th International German Studies Conference. This conference under the aegis of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will gather 40 Germanists from Russia as well as scholars and professors from Germany.

The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ekaterinburg informed RusBusinessNews that for the first time people of the city will be able to watch several movies which caused a strong public resonance in Germany. They will be shown within the framework of the Adolf Grimme Prize winners' film festival.
