Plamen Petkov Becomes Head of Bulgarian Consulate in Ekaterinburg07.05.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. Bulgaria has replaced its Consul in the Urals. As from 1 May 2009 Plamen Petkov is the head the Consulate General in Ekaterinburg. The Consulate informed RusBusinessNews that in the nearest future Mr. Petkov plans to familiarize himself with the regions included into the consular district. Among them are the Sverdlovsk, the Chelyabinsk, the Kurgan, the Tyumen Oblasts, as well as the Khanty-Mansiysk and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs. The Bulgarian Consulate opened in Ekaterinburg in 2003. Milen Keremedchiev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, during the visit to the Urals in March 2009 made a statement on the need to expand economic relations between the regions of the Urals Federal District and Bulgaria. |
