EU Will Open Waiters’ School in the Urals22.05.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. International High Hospitality Business School is planned for opening in Ekaterinburg in 2012. It will satisfy the qualified personnel requirements of the Urals hotels and restaurants. The school will be established with the support from the Ministry of Education of the Sverdlovsk Oblast and three Ekaterinburg colleges. The initial stage of the project will be financed entirely by the European Union. The Grenoble Academy Public Interest Group for Vocational Training and Placement (France) will be co-ordinating the project. The amount of investment has not yet been disclosed. The USTA group of companies, the project initiator, told RusBusinessNews that the curriculum will be developed and teachers will be trained over the next three years. The new college will have at least two departments: for the restaurant and for the hotel businesses. Students will be able to get internationally recognised Bachelor's and Master's degrees. |
