URALCHEM has invested 2.6 billion rubles to upgrade its businesses in Perm17.02.2014 — News PERM TERRITORY In 2013, 2.6 billion rubles was invested in upgrades and repairs at its Berezniki-based branch Azot as well as at Mineral Fertilizers in Perm (subsidiaries of the United Chemical Company URALCHEM, OJSC). Over the course of the year, its branch Azot was the recipient of 1.8 billion rubles for capital investments and repairs, which was 10% more than in 2012. Repairs were carried out at the business in the units responsible for nitrite and nitrate salts and higher aliphatic amines, plus a number of projects were pursued to update the production facilities. The press office at Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC told RusBusinessNews that in 2013 over one billion rubles' worth of capital repairs and updates were done at the business, which is 160% more than in 2012. In particular, the first stage of a major investment project, "The Modernization of the Ammonia Machinery," was completed at a cost of over 550 million rubles. |
