UMMC to invest 20 million rubles to update its copper-powder line

Uralelectromed, OJSC (a subsidiary of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company) has begun a program to renovate its copper-powder unit. The initial product is manufactured here using electrolysis, after which it is processed in a series of steps. Part of the updates will include the installation of a mill from Italo Danioni and a leakproof mechanical screen made by Kroosh Technologies.

UMMC’s press office told RusBusinessNews that the renovations will cost 20 million rubles. When finished, the copper-powder unit's entire manufacturing process will be automated.
