URALCHEM has invested 500 million rubles in a fleet of ammonia tank cars20.08.2014 — News PERM TERRITORY In August 2014, the United Chemical Company URALCHEM, OJSC added 100 new ammonia tank cars, manufactured at the Ruzaevsky chemical-engineering plant, to its fleet of railway vehicles. URALCHEM-TRANS, LLC (a subsidiary of URALCHEM) and Alfa-Leasing, LLC signed the finance-lease contract. The deal was worth approximately 500 million rubles. URALCHEM's press office told RusBusinessNews that the expansion of the company's own fleet of ammonia tank cars is in keeping with the company's strategy to ensure its logistical independence. Between 2012 and 2014, URALCHEM increased its ownership rate within its fleet of ammonia tank cars from 40 to 71%. Currently, the company has a fleet of 1,700 tanks, over 1,200 of which it owns. |
