Ural Airlines has connected Moscow and Uzbekistan

On October 27, 2014, Ural Airlines began direct service between Moscow and the cultural capital of Uzbekistan - Samarkand.

The air carrier's press office told RusBusinessNews that flights will be available to that republic on Mondays. In the Russian capital passengers can take advantage of convenient connections to cities in Russia and Europe with little stopover time.

Ural Airlines is one of the top five major Russian airlines in terms of volume of traffic between January and August of 2014. In 2013, the air carrier served over 4.4 million passengers. The airline's fleet consists of 35 Airbus aircraft.
