UMMC is going to increase the output of cathode copper nearly by 3%

By the end of 2014 the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) is planning to produce 380-385 thousand tons of cathode copper, which is by 1.3-2.7% higher than the previously estimated output for the current year.

As UMMC General Director Andrei Kozitsyn told RusBusinessNews, approximately 200 thousand tons of copper produced by the Company will be exported. The products for export are copper rods and cathode copper.

The information disclosed previously was that in 2014 UMMC will produce 375 thousand tons of cathode copper.
