Sverdlovsk Oblast Will Get New Flour Mill Plant By Autumn01.06.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. A new flour mill will open in the Sverdlovsk oblast in November 2009. Investments in the project are estimated to amount to 250 to 300 million roubles. The Pervomayskiy flour mill's processing capacity will amount to 100 thousand tons of grain per year. This is 20% more than the current capacity of the Ekaterinburg flour mill plant, the largest in the Sverdlovsk oblast. Ekaterinburg flour mill currently controlling 35% of the regional flour market will be closed shortly. The construction project is financed by the Sverdlovsk Oblast Food Market Development Agency. Currently the construction is 60% completed and the manufacturing equipment has been purchased. The Agency informed RusBusinessNews that the location of the mill was chosen close to Ekaterinburg and within easy transportation reach of the neighbouring grain-producing Kurgan and Chelyabinsk oblasts. In the near future a state-of-the-art bakery can be added to the Pervomayskiy flour mill's grain storage and processing facilities, a flour packaging line, and a flour warehouse are also envisaged. |
