UMMC Aircraft Industries will increase the output of aircraft by 11%19.01.2015 — News CZECH REPUBLIC In 2015, the aircraft building factory of UMMC Aircraft Industries, which is located in the Czech Republic, is planning to increase the production of aircraft by 11% and manufacture 18 aircraft. The figures were announced during the factory visit of Jan Mladek, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The UMMC Press Service has informed RusBusinessNews that to meet the production targets the aircraft building factory is going to hire at least 77 new employees. At the moment, the company has about 1,000 employees. UMMC Aircraft Industries is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, specializing in manufacturing of L-410 light passenger airplanes. The factory is designing the model of the next generation – L-410 NG (New Generation). Outside Russia, L-410 aircraft are supplied to countries of Europe, Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
