UMMC will invest about 3 billion rubles in Gaysky GOK06.03.2015 — News ORENBURG REGION In 2015 about 2.9 billion rubles will be invested in expansion and upgrading of Gaysky GOK (the Integrated Mining and Processing Plant of UMMC in the Orenburg Region). Half of the amount will be channeled to major construction projects. The UMMC Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that more than 700 million rubles will be invested in increasing the capacity of the underground mine of the plant. The amount of 113 million rubles is earmarked for upgrading. Capital investment is planned in development of the Dombarovskaya and Kvarkenskaya industrial areas with open-pit mining – specifically, the Letneye, Levoberezhnoye and Yuzhno-Kirovskoye deposits. 193 million rubles will be spent on Osenneye section. In 2015 Gaysky GOK intends to produce 9.1 million tons of ore.
