French Companies will Assist Russian Exporters

French companies that are interested in establishing partnership relations with Russian defence industry companies will take part in the 7th International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment, and Ammunition. RussianExpoArms-2009 will take place in Nizhny Tagil on 8-11 July.

The interest in industrial partnerships in the area of engineering, equipment maintenance, and process optimization brought ViaMeca - the association of machine building universities, institutes and research centres - to the exhibition. SESM expects to be instrumental in the export of T90C tanks produced by OAO NPK Uralvagonzavod (The Urals Railway Car Plant). The company will present automatic gearboxes to equip the menacing machines in Nizhny Tagil. A subdivision of Nexter Group will present a tyre pressure control and adjustment system.

Ural Atlantic France, the Russian-French agency for international, commercial and territorial development, told RusBusinessNews that the French are ready to help Russian companies to improve the quality of their products and become more competitive abroad. At present more than 130 companies from Russia and a number of foreign countries have confirmed their participation in the RussianExpoArms-2009.
