UMMC Aircraft Industries is developing a new aircraft22.05.2015 — News CZECH REPUBLIC The aircraft building factory of UMMC Aircraft Industries, which is located in the Czech Republic, is implementing the L-410 UVP aircraft in-depth overhaul project. The UMMC Press Service has informed RusBusinessNews that L-410 New Generation will be equipped with digital avionics systems and a new engine; it will have a long single-piece wing. Thereby L-410 UVP will be able to operate in extreme heat and high mountain areas. Maximum takeoff weight of the aircraft will be increased to 7 tons; the front luggage compartment will be doubled in size. The serial production of L-410 NG aircraft is scheduled to be launched in 2017. The aircraft mockup will be presented at the International Exhibition INNOPROM 2015, which will be held in Ekaterinburg in summer. UMMC Aircraft Industries is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, specializing in manufacturing of L-410 light passenger airplanes. The factory is designing the model of the next generation – L-410 NG (New Generation). Outside Russia, L-410 aircraft are supplied to countries of Europe, Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. |
