Uralelectromed is increasing its output production of copper sulfate31.08.2015 — News SVERDLOVSK REGION Uralelectromed, JSC (a subsidiary of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company) embarked on production of a new type of products – high-purity copper sulfate from copper granules and concentrated sulfuric acid. Previously, copper sulfate was produced only from waste transmitting electrolyte of the electrolysis copper shop. As the new line has been put into operation, the copper sulfate output can increase by 20% to 38 thousand tons by the end of 2015. The product quality has also been improved: the weight content of nickel has been reduced 100 times and the arsenic content has decreased 2-3 times, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the UMMC Press Service. Today, Uralelectromed supplies copper sulfate to the United States, Canada, Australia, EU and other countries.
