UMMC started manufacturing wear-resistant rubber in the Tomsk Region21.10.2015 — News TOMSK REGION Sibkabel, CJSC (a member of the Cable Alliance Holding, LLC controlled by UMMC) has launched a new production facility for rubber compounds. The investment in the project totaled about 570 million rubles. The expected payback period is 6 years. As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the UMMC Press Service, the core equipment for the facility was supplied by Harburg Freudenberger (Germany). The estimated output of the new production facility is 6 thousand tons of rubber compounds a year – exceeding the previous output three times. Having the new production facility, Sibkabel, CJSC, will be able to produce competitive cable products, which meet strict requirements for fire resistance and strength at extremely low temperatures or when exposed to aggressive environment. Among other products, Sibkabel will manufacture rubber for insulation of high-voltage cables, cables used in oil production, wires and cables for non-combustible and fire-safe rolling stock for rail transport. |
