CHTZ-Uraltrac is coming into the market of Latin America

CHTZ-Uraltrac (a subsidiary of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation) intends to tap the market of Latin America. The company has signed a dealership agreement with Vostok-Sur Export-Import (Peru). The dealer will be responsible for promotion of the company’s construction machinery products in Peru, for warranty-based support and after-sales service of machines.

Bulldozers will be delivered in sea containers. The same type of shipments has been tried successfully with Vietnam, India and Indonesia, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of the corporation.

The second agreement has been signed by the dealer, with participation of CHTZ-Uraltrac, with the Peruvian branch of Repsol, a Spanish company producing technical oils. Under the agreement, Repsol agrees to provide assistance to the dealer in promoting CHTZ products. It’s a win-win agreement, as Repsol will be able to expand its market: engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems of tractors supplied to Peru will be filled only with Repsol oils. Another agreement has been signed with Senati, a company owning a private network of technical and vocational educational institutions in Peru.

In future, Peru can be offered a project of full-featured assembly of CHTZ bulldozers, including some components from local manufacturers.
