UMMC has purchased Finnish machines for the underground mine of Gaisky GOK28.12.2015 — News ORENBURG REGION The underground mine of the Gaisky GOK (the mining-and-processing integrated plant of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) in the Orenburg Region) has received new mobile mining machines manufactured by Sandvik (Finland). The company purchased two load-and-haul machines (the load-carrying capacity of 14 tons) and a dump truck (the load-carrying capacity of 30 tons), as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the UMMC Press Service. Besides, in 2015 the Finnish manufacturer supplied to the company a mobile underground machine for transportation of non-explosive components of emulsion explosives and a self-propelled underground machine. The output estimated for the Gaisky GOK underground mine in 2015 is 6.2 million tons of ore, which exceeds the output of the previous year by 225 thousand tons. In future, the output is expected to reach 7.5 million tons of ore a year. |
