URALCHEM has increased quantities of mineral fertilizers supplied to Russian agrarians

From June 2015 to January 2016, United Chemical Company URALCHEM increased the quantity of ammonia nitrate supplied to the Russian market by 90% as compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase is explained by the growth of demand for this type of products.

In 2015, URALCHEM froze the prices for fertilizers. Ammonia nitrate was sold to Russian agrarians at the prices set in September.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of URALCHEM, in total, the products supplied to the domestic market account for approximately one third of the company’s sales. About one half of the produced ammonia nitrate is supplied to meet the needs of Russian agrarians. Over last September-December, the supplied quantity increased by more than 75 thousand tons (+83%).
