Motovilikhinsky Plants Replace Their 100-Year-Old Forging Machine04.06.2009 — News THE PERM KRAI. OAO Motovilikhinsky Plants is now ready to produce forgings weighing up to 15 tones and as long as 12 metres. The new Danieli forging machine and a new forgings-heating furnace have been recently commissioned. The new Italian machine replaced the steam forging machine Felzer which was made in 1913. For almost a hundred years this machine has produced forgings weighing up to 6.5 tones. The Danieli is equipped with computer control system, which will significantly increase the precision and the quality of the forging process. The company's representatives informed RusBusinessNews that the enterprise's major clients are oil, energy, and atomic machine building plants. OAO Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant has a direct interest in the Motovilikhinsky plants increasing their production capacity. Motovilikhinsky Plants are planning to export forgings to their well-established partners in Germany in France. |
