VSMPO-AVISMA’s "sheet-rolling" investment totaled 155 million rubles

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC, has implemented investment projects aimed at development of machining operations in its sheet-rolling complex for a total amount of 155 million rubles. 

 

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the corporation’s press center, the new shot-blasting machine has been put into operation to process items up to 250 mm thick, up to 1.8 meters wide and up to seven meters long. 

 

The new bandsaw machine will start operating in the facility for large-size rolled products in January 2021. 

 

According to VSMPO-AVISMA’s Director General Sergey Stepanov, the demand for rolled product is going up; in the last months, the facility has been operating at a 90–95% load. The investment in development of smelting, forging, rolling, and machining operations will continue in 2021.
