Dmitry Medvedev: BRIC will help create a fair world order

"The meeting of BRIC leaders is an outstanding, probably even historical event. The first meeting has lived up to our expectations. We discussed the global financial situation, our work, including the work during other meetings. Later we will be talking about the new financial architecture," said the Russian president after the first full-scale meeting of the leaders of Brazil, Russia, India and China in Ekaterinburg on 16 June.

"The development of global economic processes eventually depends on how the economies of our countries develop, said Dmitry Medvedev. "BRIC must provide the conditions for a fairer world order".
