Ural Airlines added the fourth A321neo-NX to its fleet. The jetliner with the registration number VQ-BKX came from the factory in Hamburg.
As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the carrier’s Press Service, the aircraft has a roomy passenger cabin fitted out with 236 economy class super-thin seats with USB ports. The A321neo-NX is built using advanced aluminum alloys and high-tech materials. The new-generation engines LEAP-1A32 from CFM International and special sharklets on the wingtips reduce fuel consumption and improve the performance.
CO2 and NOx emissions are 5,000 tons below the emissions typical of the previous models, and the noise footprint is 50% lower.
At present, Ural Airlines is operating 50 jetliners built by the Europe-based Airbus manufacturer. In August, the airline is planning to add another two new jetliners to its fleet.
