VSMPO-AVISMA offered summer jobs to 220 graduates of "PIC: Perspective"

"The company has always supported those students of Salda, who wanted to earn extra money during the summer, by improving the city and factory facilities. Last year, we found that many young people seek to climb the career ladder. "PIC: Perspective" provides them with the opportunity for such development. I am very pleased that all the children have completed our pilot project training program and have already started working under the guidance of the mentors. I am sure that the first graduates of the cluster will appreciate the benefits of the project: professional development, stable and adequate salary, participation in team-building training and company sports," noted Olga Furtatova, head of VSMPO-AVISMA's HR department.

 

Work at VSMPO will be useful for the children not only in terms of the salary, she believes. The teenagers will get a unique experience, learn about production, feel independent and soon become full-fledged employees.

 

The admission campaign for the new season of "PIC: Perspective" has already begun. Beginning in September, Verkhnyaya Salda and Nizhnyaya Salda students aged 14-18 will be able to attend free training in the following areas: Data management, basics of instrumentation, design work, machining of parts, non-destructive testing, locksmith work, basics of physical and mechanical testing. Next summer, they are expected to join the group as environmentalists, programmers, lab technicians, defectologists, locksmiths, and others.
