VSMPO-AVISMA opens European level sports facility in Verkhnyaya Salda

I would like to thank VSMPO-AVISMA management for keeping their word and building a modern facility for all the fans of this spectacular sport. I hope that now the ranks of boxers will be swelled by new champions," said Oleg Zhadobin and presented the club with a referee gong.

Comfortable and safe conditions for boxing classes have been created in the club's spacious rooms, which meet European standards. There is an Olympic-sized ring, punching bags and pads, as well as a special training complex. Eduard Shurygin held the first training in the new ring for Salda athletes.

Every year VSMPO-AVISMA allocates more than 160 mln rubles for sport programs. The company maintains a year-round ice-skating rink, a soccer field, a ski complex, a chess club, a swimming pool, halls for game sports, a gym, and a fitness room. Several thousand people play 12 different sports here – from chess to motor sports. Each employee's account is credited monthly with sports bonuses for free visits to corporate sports facilities. VSMPO-AVISMA employs professional coaches and instructors who work with children and adults. Throughout the year, metallurgists take part in various tournaments – from corporate to all-Russian.
