VSMPO-AVISMA becomes a partner of 7th Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum for the first time

On December 1, 7th Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum will be opened in the capital of Prikamye. For the first time, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC will be a partner of the event. The world's largest manufacturer of titanium and titanium alloy products used in aerospace, energy, oil and gas, chemical, shipbuilding, medical, and construction industries effectively uses modern HR tools, works with the employees’ loyalty, informs about corporate goals, promotes activities, and involves corporate culture.

 

By investing in the employees training, the management not only improves its employees’ skills, but also ensures the efficiency and profitability of the entire company. For example, the company’s training center implements programs to teach its employees practical skills. To build a pool of high-potential employees, the Leaders Academy project is implemented. Modern digital tools are actively used, the distance learning platform and the corporate knowledge library enjoying the greatest popularity with the employees. A new adaptation program for young professionals, VzleTi (FlyUp in Russian), has been introduced, based on the unique expertise of a mentor, personal approach, and effective communication. The company pays special attention to attracting young professionals and developing the system of cooperation with universities and technical schools. Thus, on the basis of a branch of the Urals Federal University named after B. N. Yeltsin, a "Titanium Metallurgy" department has been created, where teachers’ staff includes employees of VSMPO-AVISMA, some classes taking place on site, in the company's workshops. This mechanism helps achieve a synergy of theory and practice, combining basic and applied science for maximum educational efficiency.

 

VSMPO-AVISMA's social policy aims to maintain favorable working conditions for its employees and to create a pleasant urban environment for people in the regions where the company operates.
