Ugra Calls on the RF Government to Support Small Oil Companies

The Ugra Government intends to press for the passing of the Federal Law "On State Support for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises of the Oil and Gas Complex" to enable the development of low profit and low yield fields. The law will stimulate growth of the production of raw hydrocarbons; the additional production may reach 8 million tons of oil. Apart from Ugra, this law is of great interest to Tatarstan, Bashkiria, and other Russian oil producing regions, said Alexandr Filipenko, the Governor of Ugra, to RusBusinessNews.
