More than one billion rubles of VSMPO-AVISMA’s tax payments will return to Verkhnyaya Salda

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will continue to support the implementation of a comprehensive program aimed at the social and economic development of Verkhnyaya Salda. A tripartite agreement was signed at the 14th International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM, between the government of the Sverdlovsk region, the administration of Verkhnyaya Salda municipal district, and VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

 

The total amount of additional tax deductions contributed by VSMPO-AVISMA in 2023 to the regional budget and to be returned to Verkhnyaya Salda exceeds 1 billion rubles. As part of the Comprehensive Development Program, taxes will be returned to the city budget every year until 2030, the corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews.

 

The money will be used to develop transportation and housing and utilities infrastructure in Verkhnyaya Salda. The emphasis will be placed on repairing critical sections of the heating, water supply, and sewage systems, as well as on organizing transportation services for the population, including the purchase of passenger buses.

The combined efforts of the regional government and VSMPO-AVISMA have a tangible impact on the social and economic development of Verkhnyaya Salda. The Corporation is a socially responsible employer, provides jobs and competitive wages. Creating comfortable living conditions allows to improve the demographic situation in the city.

 

Dmitry Trifonov, General Director of VSMPO-AVISMA, noted that Verkhnyaya Salda, like all single-industry towns, has similar problems – outflow of able-bodied population, outdated infrastructure, and depreciation of fixed assets. He thanked the regional authorities for their constructive cooperation.

 

"By working together, we are already solving these problems. And despite the fact that tangible social and economic results may not appear immediately, positive changes are already visible for the Verkhnyaya Salda District," said Dmitry Trifonov.

 

Aleksandr Maslov, Head of Verkhnyaya Salda, emphasized VSMPO-AVISMA's impressive role in the implementation of projects in all spheres of life in the district: education, healthcare, sports, culture, construction, and organization of public spaces.

 

"As part of cooperation with the titanium giant, Salda has already overhauled one of the town's central streets – Saburova, renovated a movie theater, and the town's polyclinic has received the necessary equipment. Today the repair of sidewalks and many other things is in full swing," – said Aleksandr Maslov.
