Private investors from Iran have plans to create several enterprises producing and processing agricultural produce in the Chelyabinsk Oblast. The projects totaling around 100 million US dollars will be developed on co-financing terms. As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the regional government, Iranians propose to build a poultry factory for 500 thousand hens, a combined feed plant with the annual capacity of 100-300 thousand tons, and a farm for 3 thousand heads of cattle. The co-investors intend to invest up to 2 million dollars at the project design stage. During their visit to the Chelyabinsk Oblast in July 2009, the Iranian businessmen will be presented several plots of land for production facilities' allocation. The land is most likely to be leased on a long-term basis. By the end of this year the Russian party should settle all administrative issues and incorporate a joint-venture, whilst the Iranian party should find equipment suppliers. |
