Dutch Companies are Getting Ready for Presentation in the Urals02.07.2009 — News THE SVERDLOVSK OBLAST. The Dutch business will open the new business season in the Urals. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Russia Jan-Paul Dirkse has sent official announcements to the governors of the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk oblasts regarding the upcoming trade and economic mission of the Dutch entrepreneurs to Ekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. The mission will be held on 21-25 September 2009.The deputy director of the Netherlands Business Support Office in Ekaterinburg Natalia Yampolskaya told RusBusinessNews that over 40 top managers are expected to arrive in the Urals in September. They will represent almost all the major sectors of the Netherlands' economy - from agriculture to energy saving and nanotechnology. The Netherlands take the first place among the trade partners of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. Following the 2008 results the trade turnover amounted to 1.67 billion dollars, which shows a 29% increase compared to the previous year. The major products exported to the Netherlands are metals. |
