Perm Might Buy Buses in Iran02.07.2009 — News THE PERM KRAI. Shahab Khodro Company, an Iranian car manufacturer (formerly Iran Leyland Motors), is ready to supply passenger buses to Perm. The city council has shown interest in the implementation of this transport project. The Teheran-based plant assembles buses on Renault and MAN chassis. Depending on the configuration, the average price of a bus in Russia may vary from 150 to 230 thousand dollars. Buses for Perm are offered for a 5 year lease at 3-4% interest rate, with a 10-15% advance payment. If the city buys more than 30 buses, Shahab Khodro Company will build a maintenance shop in Perm at its own expense, which will service the buses free of charge for 10 years. The city council representatives told RusBusinessNews that Shahab Khodro Company will soon make all the necessary leasing calculations and the negotiations will continue. |
