SVERDLOVSK REGION
VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC invested over 2.5 billion rubles in social programs over 2024. The funds were directed toward supporting employees and their families, running charitable programs, and upgrading the area of presence in Verkhnyaya Salda (Sverdlovsk Region) and Berezniki (Perm Territory).
VSMPO-AVISMA allocated 873.6 million rubles to employee benefits and family support. Employees receive seniority-based bonuses, paid social leave, vouchers for health resort treatment and children's wellness camps, and access to sports facilities through the 1500 Rubles for Sports program, among other benefits. All VSMPO-AVISMA employees are covered by voluntary health insurance. In 2024, a total of 932 employees received treatment at the company’s health center, Chaika. An additional 381.5 million rubles was spent on subsidized meals for employees.

Nearly half a billion rubles were also invested in charitable programs. The funds supported the development of the Prospect Professional and Industrial Cluster, including the launch of a workshop in Building Construction and Maintenance, upgrades to workshops at the Verkhnyaya Salda Aviation Metallurgy College under the federal Professionalitet program, and the construction of a creative youth space in Verkhnyaya Salda.
As part of upgrading the area of presence, VSMPO-AVISMA actively participates in urban improvement programs. Specifically, it co-financed citizen-led initiatives under the federal participatory budgeting program. Last year, the corporation sponsored nine community projects with a total contribution exceeding 6 million rubles. These projects included the creation of sports and multipurpose playgrounds for children, purchasing animation studio equipment and sports gear for kindergartens, and providing robotics kits for a youth robotics club. The company also increased its funding share—from 30% to 80%—for the purchase of equipment for the Renaissance Children’s Art School theater hall, creative workshops at the Children’s Activity Center, and the upgrade of the Krepysh city swimming pool.

VSMPO-AVISMA fully covered the costs of designing, producing, and installing a monument to Vladislav Tetyukhin in the city park, the development of which will continue under the Comfortable Urban Environment program. The company also supports various local organizations, including the Veterans’ Council, the Society for the Disabled, the Council of Combat Veterans, the civic movement Our Home—Verkhnyaya Salda, and others.
Since 2019, the Empathy Foundation, established by VSMPO-AVISMA shareholder Mikhail Shelkov, has been active in Verkhnyaya Salda. The foundation provides monthly payments of 10,000 to 15,000 rubles to over 1,300 teachers, preschool staff, and employees of social and rehabilitation centers in Verkhnyaya Salda and Nizhnyaya Salda. Winners of the Best Teachers competition receive an additional monthly bonus of 15,000 rubles throughout the academic year. Starting October 1, 2024, paramedics in Verkhnyaya Salda and Nizhnyaya Salda will also receive monthly financial support, thanks to Mikhail Shelkov’s initiative.
“VSMPO-AVISMA is not only the largest titanium producer in Russia, but also the cornerstone enterprise of Verkhnyaya Salda. Our two facilities employ nearly 20,000 people, and we are committed to creating comfortable living conditions for all of them. Annual salary indexation, vouchers for health resorts and children’s camps, and meal subsidies are just a few of the many initiatives we take to support our large team,” said Dmitry Trifonov, CEO of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, PJSC.
