Iranians Will Begin Construction of Agrocomplex in Chelyabinsk Oblast in August28.07.2009 — News THE CHELYABINSK OBLAST. Iranian entrepreneurs will start the construction of an agrocomplex in the Chelyabinsk Oblast in August 2009. The total value of the project implemented by the Russian-Iranian venture is 100 million US dollars. The regional government informed RusBusinessNews that it is planned to build a mill and a feed-processing plant in the Bredinsky district. In the winter a battery farm for 500 thousand chickens and a dairy farm for 600 to 1,500 cows are planned for the construction in Uvelsky district. Moreover, 8 thousand hectares of land will be given to the Iranians for growing cereals. Some of the produced goods will be exported to Iran. The project initiators do not exclude that other Iranian businessmen may come to the Russian agricultural sector. |
