Austrian Businessmen Ready to Take Concession on Municipal Services in Yamal

Austrian investors are ready to participate in the design and construction of timber harvesting enterprises, construction materials production, and to contribute to the construction of automotive roads, bridges, bridges and tunnels in Yamal. The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Austria in Ekaterinburg offered companies of the Autonomous Okrug to consider the options for the collaboration.

Austrian companies offer to supply state of the art equipment to Urals electric power facilities, take part in the construction of gas powered heat and electricity generation plants in Yamal and Ugra, and build power lines from new power plants to mineral deposit fields.

The Honorary Consulate informed RusBusinessNews that Austrian technologies for building and maintenance of utilities may find their use in the Urals Federal District. It is suggested to hand over as a concession to Austrian companies utilities sites of several municipalities in Yamal.

The 2008 trade turnover between the Urals Federal District regions and the Republic of Austria amounted to 5 billion roubles.
