German Tank Fish Will Feed on Shrimp from Siberia30.07.2009 — News THE TYUMEN OBLAST. The Tyumen Oblast has discovered a new commodity for export. Live feed for tank fish will be shipped from the West Siberia to Europe. The company General Trade Net informed RusBusinessNews that the first 10 ton batch of gammarus, a small shrimp, which contains substances improving the health of fish and making their natural colours more intensive. The contract envisages the shipments of 40 tons of the popular bioresource in 2009. Freshwater reservoirs of the West Siberia, as well as Lake Baikal are the main areas where gammarus lives. It is planned to catch 390 tons of these shrimps in the Tyumen Oblast in 2009. |
